CROSLEY "PUP" (1924)

Here is an excellent example of the famous Crosley "Pup" from 1924. This was the first radio to sell for less than $10. Due its small size, they named it the "Pup" and had a mascot, a "Sky Terrier" named Bonzo to advertise the set. This famous radio helped make Crosley Radio Corp. become the largest radio manufacturer in the world. The aluminum cabinet is in excellent condition with original finish, knobs, WX-12 RCA Radiotron tube, label on bottom, cables and metal ID tags. The internal parts of the radio are in excellent condition. The set is battery operated and untested. Item #575. (Bonzo not included).
